Trento's Mountain
Monte Bondone is also known as
"Trento’s mountain" because it is so close to the town: just a few
kilometres along a road with spectacular views and you come to the top of the mountain
which is surrounded by wonderful, natural scenary. In summer the mountain offers hikes up
to its peaks at over 2,000 metres.On Monte Bondone is located the Alpine Botanical Garden. From July to August, every Thursday afternoon, at the Alpine Botanic Garden, there are guided activities at the discovery of the alpine plants and herbs (treasures hunt), while every Thursday evening there are guided summer-sky observations (organizer Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali)
